Where can you find a one mile circumference of great shopping, delicious dining options and fun entertainment? Arizona Mills in Tempe of course! The fun atmosphere is contagious and it’s easy to spend an entire day here exploring all there is to do and see. Here is a list of my favorite shops, restaurants and attractions:
– Outlet shopping: When I’m looking for a good deal I always head to Arizona Mills first. There is a huge variety of stores with everything from shoes, to jewelry, to kitchen wares to clothing for the whole family. The outlet stores, including Neiman Marcus Last Call, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th, GAP Outlet and Nike Factory Store have impressive deals. I especially love the selection of shoes stores – there are too many to count. One can lost here if you don’t pay attention to where you started out! And opening soon is Conn’s, Justice and f.y.e. – check them out this fall.
– Delectable dining: With lots of restaurants to choose from I never go hungry here. A few of my favorites are the Rainforest Cafe (I love the “rain storms” that pass through while you’re there), Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant and the Food Court. The Food Court at Arizona Mills is light and bright with colorful tables and even features a carousel (located right there in the food court area!), making it an enjoyable spot to relax, have fun and grab a bite to eat. And opening this September is Green Leaf’s and Bananas – a yummy and healthy addition.
– Entertainment for all: There is arcade fun to be had at GameWorks with hundreds of the latest and greatest arcade games, prize games and old school classics like billiards and darts. Or I can walk a few feet to watch a movie at Harkins Theatres on one of their 25 screens, or another few feet and watch a movie on the Harkins IMAX screen – the largest in Arizona! An attraction that the kiddos will love is spending time at SEA LIFE Arizona Aquarium. Visitors can see all sorts of creatures up close including seahorses, sharks, rays, tropical fish and more!
