One of the only rooftop lounges in Arizona has now come to Mill Avenue. Formerly Suite 301, the Rooftop Lounge and Patio recently opened at Fifth Street and Mill Avenue. It continues to differentiate itself from the plethora of bars in the Mill Avenue District. One of my favorite aspects of this place, besides the seriously chic patio, are the large dance floors. If you love to dance, you should definitely make Rooftop one of your new spots, since it features two different DJs and multiple dance areas for you to choose from. Despite the blistering Tempe heat, the patio manages to stay cool, allowing us to get a break from many of the over-crowded dance floors below. The patio sits atop of Hooters and overlooks all of Mill Avenue, along with a full bar outside, and even a projector screen that can be seen from Mill! If you would rather be inside, this lounge has plenty of indoor seating space and dancing room. Don’t feel like getting a little workout climbing the stairs? We don’t blame you – just take the inside elevator next to Gringo Star’s patio. This trendy location is getting popular fast, so bring your friends to enjoy delicious drinks and an amazing view of the Tempe before Mill’s best-kept secrets gets out.
