President’s Day is this Monday, February 20, which means kids have the day off school! While this is very exciting for kids of all ages, parents must now come up with things to do to keep them entertained for the day. Here’s a list of my favorite attractions in Tempe that are fun for both parents and kids alike!
The Phoenix Zoo: The Phoenix Zoo has been voted one of the nation’s top 5 zoos for kids, and for good reason! There are several great exhibits for kids such as Monkey Village, Wallaby Walkabout, Stingray Bay and Harmony Farm.
SEA LIFE Arizona: Discover over 5,000 sea creatures, including a new sea turtle, at SEA LIFE Arizona. Built specifically for kids, this attraction transports visitors into the amazing ocean world.
GameWorks: GameWorks at Arizona Mills features the newest virtual-reality games and classic arcade favorites. Kids can have fun playing interactive games, simulators, and loads of other games, plus pool and darts.
Stratum Laser Tag: Stratum Laser Tag is the World’s Largest Laser Tag Arena including an 18,000 sq. ft. indoor facility featuring a giant labyrinth with 90 towers, bridges and ramps! Kids can get all their energy out while having a good time!
Tempe Boat Rentals: Rent a pedal boat, hydrobike, stand-up paddleboard or pontoon boat for the afternoon! With the temps in the mid 70′s, it’s a great time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine!
